So much mucus and poop around these parts right now. And here I am. Still tap tap tappin’ for you. Here is the latest and greatest in the Hines House.

I made a knock off version of Pioneer Woman Perfect Potato Soup. It turned out okayyyyy, but I subbed so many ingredients that I honestly could just call it my own crappy recipe. I’m not going to bother you with it. Make the real one; it sounds pretty good.

I am reading The Girl with the Pearl Earring right now. Well, I was reading it. Just this very wonderful second, Sam ripped the bookmark out. I have a finite amount of time to read each day. I am betting it will take that amount of time to find my place again.

We’re looking for a new chandelier for our dining room. I want it to match the 1920’s style of our home. I also want it to match our budget. If you find me a good one, I will give you free ad space on my blog. I’m not even joking around.

This is the light fixture we have in our foyer; I love it. Looking for something in this style but a chandelier:

It’s comments like these that I could live off of for years. Kendra made a similar comment weeks ago about how she didn’t know how she was going to get in a shower with the big kids away and only the littles underfoot. There is a light.

If I (<- imagine emphasis on the I) needed a chandelier, I would pick Aggie's brain (http://www.woolandflaxblog.com). She is probably busy having a baby or something, now, but I'm guessing as soon as she is done, she would have some pretty good ideas on where you might look for the perfect one. Just guessing.

Google 1920 Chandelier on eBay and lots of different choices come up. And they seem to have prices to fit every budget! Here’s a few neat looking ones:
