I’ve Gotta Be Honest Here

August 22, 2012 By Jenna 8 Comments

But first, random pictures from the past couple of days:
Ellen you can drive my car. Yes, I’m gonna be a star.

Pickin’ Dandelions

Whoa Nelly-bones!

The cutest mail carrier I’ve ever seen.

Now, onto the main course. I am in such a creative rut. I’ve barely even been making things off of Pinterest…which are other people’s ideas. I don’t know what it is. Lack of sleep? Too much traveling? Too much lay-hay-zee-ness? I’m going to go with the latter.
Ellen my dear has been getting up so early (excuuuuuses), and I am finding myself taking refuge on the couch until she takes a nap and I can take a shower sans gawker. By that time I am feeling unmotivated and uncreative.
How can I get out of this funk? What do you want to read about? What should I create? What do you want to know?
Most importantly, what do you do when you are feeling unmotivated?

Help a blogger out, would ya?

I get away from the computer and actually go out and LIVE life. Get out of the house, go outside. Enjoy!

First, when did Ellen get so big? Holy cupcakes, she’s adorable! Anyway I’ve been in a similar funk recently and took a few weeks off from the Internet. I barely checked Facebook, no Pinterest or blogs. I think when I get so absorbed in all of THIS, I can’t focus. It seemed to help and I’m back now but not nearly as much as before. Good luck!

I love the idea of getting away from the computer. I need to do that occasionally too.
Also pick a day and just do things differently.. eat breakfast and go at it, break away from your routine. If you start your day with high energy, it gives you more energy for the rest of the day. Pokey mornings = pokey days.
