Things Sam has done today:
Eaten a handful of dirt (What’s new?)
Drank half a bottle of Motrin (Yes, we keep it up. Yes, it has a safety cap.)
Laughed at me while I frantically called Poison Control (He is fine, they say.)
Pooped all over his new clothes (Ok, that was late last night.)
Attacked Ellen while she screamed and ran for cover. (Revenge.)
Eaten everything off of the floor. (Doesn’t matter what it is.)
Thinking about making some cuties with these cuties and putting them in an Etsy shop. Thoughts?
You all know Kendra, because she writes all the good things. But, did you know that she is honestly one of the best people to chat with about parenting questions? I wanted to give her a shout out as a virtual thank you note for answering all of my crazy emails about all things mothering.
Speaking of #3, I am in the process of deciding what really irks me as a parent, and what types of things I can live with. I am hoping it will help me fix some of the annoyances I have about staying at home with the children. They are entering new stages, and new things need to happen ’round these parts.
Have you ever done this? Fruitful? Yes? No?
On Wednesday, we got up early, went to playgroup, hit the gym and went grocery shopping. We are celebrating all of that productiveness by watching a steady stream of Disney these past two days as well as eating things like guacamole for lunch and leftovers for dinner. It’s all about the balance, right?
I’ve got today’s Gospel refection up at CatholicMom.com right now. Sometimes I can be thoughtful and charming. Check it out and get your daily dose of prayer. You need it. I do too.
A sneak preview at a big ol’ giveaway coming up in March. I’m jealous of you.
