7QT: Come at me, bro.

I’m such a complete neurotic, so when Mike told me he had to go out of town for TWO WEEKS this month, I was 1. a big baby about having to watch the threesome by my lonesome and 2. scared to tell anyone lest a creeper find out I was home alone and steal my children in the night.

Well, jokes on you, creepers. Mike is back home now and he owns a LARGE pocket knife. Come at me, bro.

Also, we made it. We freaking survived.

Tell me doc and military wives, how do you do it? SERIOUSLY.

I’m not the only bard in this neck of the Internet. Check out some gems that I didn’t Mark as Read before even getting to. In fact, I saved them to savor later. So, are they good? I don’t know. Let’s find out together:

My goodness, I’m in love with your First Communion dress! I received First Communion in 1985 and my dress is VERY ’80s. It’s got puffed sleeves and a bib collar like yours but I think yours is way more fabulous. Maybe it’s all the lace?

My daughter tried my dress on before we bought her dress and I almost burst out laughing. The ’80s was calling and definitely wanted that dress back! She did wear my veil though, and it looked so sweet with her pretty, modern dress. :)

I beg my sister to sleepover on the rare occasion that my husband has to be out of town overnight. Two weeks, though? You deserve a nice pat on the back for surviving that!
