7QT: liquid got in between the charger and the charging hole thingy

If you’re wondering what was up this week, here is the skinny (this might sound familiar):

See, my computer quit charging last week, so I took it in and they said that the cable was fried. They said it looked like some liquid got in between the charger and the charging hole thingy. Suddenly, my mind flashed back to earlier that day when I caught Sam with the charging cable in his mouth having a little old Apple snack. I yanked it from him and plugged it right back in. Zap.

If the above DID sounds familiar to you, it’s probably because you read my embroidered felt bandaid tutorial. If it doesn’t sound familiar, check it.

My friend Kristin is teaching an essential oils class tomorrow at my parents’ house. You bet I am so excited to learn moremoremore! If you’re new to oils or you want to hear some realness about them, check out Olivia’s post on how oregano saved her husband from an amputation. No joke.

At 3pm EST today, pop over to CatholicMom.com to read my latest and greatest. Hint: it has to do with Lent and embroidery. OoooOOooooh!

Speaking of stitching, I am on a mission to open an Etsy shop by next week. I’m going to have a few random requested items in store, but I also designed a Spring line. It includes lavender, initials, bees, french dot gardens, and bows. If there is anything else that you want to see, speak now or forever hold your peace. Just kidding. Tell me whenever you want.

I’ve got myself an updated workout routine. This old lady’s knees were starting to ache, so I had some modifications made. If you’re looking to tone up, try this:

Cardio 5x/week for 20-30 min and
Strength Training 3x/week:

  • Planks (3 sets at 30 seconds each)
  • Dead Lifts with a Kettleball (3 sets of 6-8)
  • Bosu Crunches (3 sets of 10)
  • Dead Bug Crunches (3 sets of 6)
  • Assisted Chin Ups (3 sets of 6-8)
  • Elevated Bar Pushups (3 sets of 6-8)
  • Low Row Machine (3 sets of 6-8)
  • Leg Press (3 sets of 6-8)

    1. I love the felt band aid tutorial. I aspire to be a cool mom like you.

    3. I can’t tell you how excited I am about your Etsy shop. I’m wanting to buy a necklace (but I’m having a hard time deciding on design, so I can’t wait to see what you post). Also, will you be selling other embroidery like the regular sized hoop embroidery?

The more embroidery I’m seeing, the more in love I am with the necklaces. The baby lavender is still my love at first sight but I am dying over the pretty yellows and oranges you have going on.
    And oooooh EO’s!
