We arrived in MI safe and sound. Ellen was a gem on the flight, and I’m being completely non-sarcastic. It was great! Here are some photos from when we first arrived:

Looking out the airplane window. Swinging. Water tablein. Sniffin.

We spent Saturday putting the finishing touches on the polka dot party.

Polka dot everything. See that middle picture? That is what every single wall and surface looked like. No joke. Thousands, ya’ll.

A million thank yous to my parents for spending their evenings cutting out circles of paper. Thousands of circles of paper and confetti. A million thank yous to people who wore polka dots, brought round food, bought polka dot gifts, and just graced us with their polka presence. We had a blast with all of you! Ellen is one lucky 1 year old!

We’re spending the rest of our trip bouncing from couch to couch visiting family. I miss Michigan. Oh so much.
