Here I am. Matching faces with Ellen. Mike won’t let me look at the ground anymore.
Deets:
glasses: Firmoo
sweater: Kohls
Dress: Old Navy
belt: Ann Taylor Loft
Tights: I actually know where I got these from – Express.
It’s a little preview into my Christmas outfit.
Someone should do a link up for What I Wore to Christmas Dinner…ahem Grace ahem…
ankle boots: Blowfish
rusted teapot: slowly making it’s way to the trash
Inside my brain: I thought this dress was a little summery/nautical, so I tried to winterize it with some warmer colors and textures.

Thanks! Love me some fashion glasses!
Ahh this is adorable! You really did winter-a-fy that dress well…I didn’t even notice it was a summer dress until you pointed it out.
Mike sounds like my Stephen. I never understand his compliments.
haha I still look at him with a sideways glance when he comes out with stuff like that…but I know he means well, in his weird manly way.
I love the cardi over that dress. I often struggle with short-sleeved sweaters, so this is giving me a few good ideas.
I’m glad I could help!
Hmmmmm….maybe I can create a new outfit with a short-sleeved sweater I have. Although that would be THREE purple outfits in a row and I think America deserves better than that. What’s that? America doesn’t care what I wear? Snap!
oh American cares! And, it’s Advent…purple away!
How sweet. You both look adorable!

Thanks, Jamie!
Love, love, love your outfit, Jenna! The red tights, your glasses…dying. I’m always trying to figure out how to winterize my summer dresses, too…you do it so well! Navy and white is one of the easier summer pairs to match with cooler weather things, I suppose, so you’re inspiring me here!
Thanks, Stephanie! I’m glad I could give you some ideas :)
I’ll be completely honest, this is my favorite outfit of all the WIWS link-ups.
Thank you so much! That put a huge smile on my face :)
Ellen is such a cutie! Love your outfit- awesome job winterizing!
