Yesterday, Ellen and I had to get out of the house. We both had a bug of some kind, and trust me, it was totally awesome and everything, but we’re glad it’s gone. Anyway, it was looking pretty ominous outside, so we hit up the mall for a little window shopping (i.e. buying things I don’t need).
We spent four hours at the mall! Four hours! My favorite part about our mall is that there is a Target inside of it. So, if there is ever a natural disaster, that is where I am going. The mall has a Target and a burrito joint; that should cover us.
We bought a package of seeds so we can have a little garden on our balcony. Hehe…remember that time we killed a cactus because we watered it every day? This should go well. We also bought Ellen a book because those don’t count as spending money as they are educational. Look. This one let’s you build your own franken-creatures. This is a Birrel. Think of all the cool things Ellen is learning!
After we decided that we were starting to smell like mall rats (I think my hair was actually crimping itself.), we decided to head home. As we were getting in the car, Ellen pulled her usual “cat getting into a bathtub” car seat routine accompanied by high pitched screaming. It looks a little like this:
But, as she was screaming, I noticed something. We have teeth, people! We finally have teeth. Two of them! They are popping in right at the bottom! I tried to get a picture, but this is all I’ve got. She has very modest teeth.
So, we celebrated and I cried a little. Ellen was in a much better mood after they popped in. Here is what she had to say about the matter:
How old were your kids when their teeth finally popped in? Tell me in the comment section below :)
