This is a review of a dress I was given, not an apple or a kumquat.
If you’ve ever nursed a baby, you’ve run into this problem:
Oh, I have a special event to go to tonight. Let me just throw on this adorable dress. :::infant cries::: I will nurse you baby. But how?? Shall I lift my dress over my head? Maybe I can flop my boob over top of the neckline for you to eat. Or I can go into that bathroom stall and take it off completely. Yes, those are all practical options.
Or, you can just invest in a wrap dress. Which is what I did.
Fresh produce let me have the pick of their litter, and I went with this little number per Sam’s request.
And, I had all of the intentions of wearing it right when I got it and doing a little WIWS post for all y’all. But, it was too big. Isn’t that the thing with Internet shopping? So, I emailed them and let them know about my problem.
Best customer service ever. They sent me a free shipping label and sent me out the right size lickity split.
So, I decided to get the best review of this dress, I would wear it to a wedding. And I did that. I did it good. Not only did I wear it to the wedding Mass, but we also left the wedding Mass and headed straight for the vigil Mass for Sunday, and then hit up the reception. This dress got back to back Mass action.
Great for nursing. Sam dug it.
The fabric was super forgiving for my post babe bod.
I liked the selection of colors; in retrospect, I would have chosen a different color for my skin tone though (my bad).
Easy to wear a bra with.
I had to use fashion tape to block the peep show in the frontal region.
If you’re looking for something with more structure, this dress is not for you. I liked that about it though.
