Originally my blog was a way to document what was going on in our pregnancy and in the life of Ellen. It started to morph into a way for me to showcase some of my thoughts, crafts, recipes, photos and whatnot. I wanted a place where I could talk about and show things that made me happy. My blog now documents the life of my family, but it also helps me to remember to carve time out for the things I love so I can be a better wife and mom.
I love when I am super jealous of how funny another blogger is. I also love photos. Maybe it’s the English teacher in me: show not tell! I don’t have any pictures for this post, so watch this instead:
3. Something I love about blogging…
I love the challenge of coming up with new content. It’s also fun when I hear that someone enjoyed something I wrote. It makes me feel good when I can relate to another person on that level.
Simple Tech Series
5. Something my friends in real life know about me that I’ve never before mentioned on my blog…
Hmm. I feel like I talk about a lot of my opinions on my blog, but I would say that I steer clear from talking about my anxiety disorder. It’s a blog about finding ways to be happy in life, so I generally don’t muck it up with sagas about my latest panic attack. But, if you want to chit chat about it, let me know! UPDATE: I talk about this all the time. Let’s be real…
6. My new favorite blogs to read are…
Camp Patton
7. Some things I tend to avoid talking about on my blog are..
See #5. Other than that, I try to keep it pretty positive and leave the mess out. With that being said, I think it is so important to remember that we often only see a person’s highlight reel on social media. We rarely see their failings, their mistakes and their troubles. Of course I have those things too, but I like to pray through all of that instead of airing it out for you. However, I will never shy away from talking about safety corn.
Now, here are a few blogs that I love that I think you should check out too. I’m tagging Simply Prudent, Knewly Wifed, and so she drew, and The Verougstraete Family!

I enjoyed getting some insight into your blogging world! I have now added the advanced style blog to my reading list. AMAZING! Also, it is a nice reminder that I am not alone in my struggles with anxiety. It affects a lot of people. Oh, and thanks for tagging me :)
Yay! Glad you did this! I love getting to know you better.
Agree with previous commenters :-) It’s good to get to know you better.
Why, thank you!
