A Broader Lens

March 31, 2011 By Jenna Leave a Comment

What started off as a personal blog to keep track of our first pregnancy has now turned in to so much more. Leaving work and staying at home to start a family has broadened my horizons. I’m finding new and interesting things to do each day, and many of them are worth a share.

This new blog format was inspired by a thought I had while in the shower (where most good thoughts come from):

It seems that every woman has a passion these days. You’re a traveler, an avid reader, a foodie, a savvy shopper, or you have one of the myriad talents that allow you to sell your crafts on Etsy.

But what about the rest of us? The MOST of us. The multitude who don’t have the time (or, quite frankly, the attention span) to dedicate to becoming an expert in one area of life. Those of us who want to dabble in everything and commit to nothing. The moms of many hats.

As a mom of many hats myself, I hope to influence you to find one thing each day that interests you, inspires you, makes you think, or just gets your creative juices flowing. And to my loyal readers, do not fret. I will continue to post about our family life – including our daughter, Ellie.

Check back often for what I’m up to and hopefully share some of your “hats” as well.
