7QT: Shoulda Been-a 5 Faves

We took Ellen to the ER on Wednesday night. She is ok now. We think she choked. She stopped breathing and passed out out me. She turned blue. We called 911 because we couldn’t get her breathing again. I’m still kind of a mess. That’s all I want to say about that. Prayers appreciated.

Afterward, Simcha helped me laugh a little with this one.

And, I am finagling a way to get myself one of these so I can fill it with Michele’s inserts. I’m convinced it will cure all of my problems.

Oh, and I want this too. Maybe I should have made this 7QT a FF?

Did you hear good Ol’ Grace’s news? This is my favorite kind of news.

Ellen and I were coloring a Rosary sheet last night. I was trying to teach her what a crucifix is. She now refers to it as a “crossy feets.” So, you know, we’re doing well…

Oh, golly, #1 falls into nightmare category. Praying for your peace of mind! As for the rest of your takes…just love. That coloring sheet (I couldn’t help but mention on the ‘trist) I used for a church’s rosary field day, and I just lurve it.

How scary! It was difficult enough when we had to take Lucia to the pediatrician (thank goodness they have evening hours) because she had a pebble in her nose (oh wait, I forgot to write about that???) . I cannot imagine not breathing and passing out. So, so happy Ellen is ok!

Oh Lucia! A pebble?? I will never understand why kids see small objects and think, “That would look great up in my nose!”

Goodness gracious! I feel a little bit panicky just thinking about it and she isn’t my child! So glad she is better.

Thanks, Andi! We are glad too. She is back to screaming and dancing and doing all of the things, so we know she is feeling just fine ;)

Ah! Jenna I just read this and I’m so sorry about Ellen! I hope she’s ok, I would have lost my mind I’m sure. That takes some getting over I think.

Thanks, Christy :) I am definitely getting over it slowly; I didn’t realize that it would be such a grieving process!
