Do you ever look at your life and realize that you spent the morning chasing a baby around a park while he covered himself in mud, meanwhile your toddler decided that she would just poop herself because you didn’t bring a change of clothes, and then you’re all, “This IS my life. It’s MY life. THIS is my life.”? Do you ever do that?

God makes them cute for a reason.

Does anyone know of a good pumpkin spice tea that is caffeine free? I want to make my own PSL because I can’t have caffeine or sugar (or at least a lot of them). So, I thought, “Milk and tea? That’s a thing. I can do that.” But, I need to find the holy grail of decaff pump tea. Does this still exist?

During my blogging break, I found out that I really thrive if I have some sort of activity planned for each day. I just feel more un-frazzled for some reason. So,
Monday: My mom babysits
Tuesday: Catechesis of the Good Shepard
Wednesday: Play group
Thursday: Ballet class
Friday: Slobbing around the house

Glad I signed her up for the cheap class, because girlfriend is doin’ her own thang.

Third Kid Confessions:
We have the sex of the baby in an envelope in my purse, and we haven’t looked at it yet. We are probably going to wait until my birthday in November and do a little gender reveal. Weird part? I’m all, “Meh, what’s a little waiting with this one?”
.

#1- I do that sometimes. For me, it’s generally when I am in a not happy place.
#6- We are totally twinsies. I find that for us, if we leave the house and do something each day, we are much MUCH better off. So, like you, I have planned a calendar each day with an activity. BUT, I again give you crazy kudos, because when I was, ‘with child’ it was all I could do to muster the energy to leave my bedroom and make it the family room to watch my children as they watched tv ;)
To make PSLs at home, I use this pumpkin spice syrup I found online (http://www.seededatthetable.com/2011/09/22/pumpkin-spice-syrup-for-hot-and-cold-coffee-or-non-coffee-drinks/). A very small amount goes a long way, so I usually halve the recipe and it lasts me a few weeks. Maybe you could cut back the amount of sugar it calls for and add more spices?
Yes! The tea! TJ’s comes out with it every autumn! I have actually saved mine all year and have a lot left :). If we wuz neighbors, I’d share a cup or two, or three.
Love the ballet pic. I want to sign Grace up sometime, but even the cheap classes here aren’t really all that cheap. :/ I enjoyed Dear Mr. Knightley- didn’t love it, but liked it a lot. I’ll tell you my biggest (and really, the only) beef I had when you get to the end. :)
Oh my goodness… joining in on the tea party. I have some in my pantry from last year, too! LOVE it. Second option for the more wintery months – Numi’s Rooibus Chai. So good.
I totally get what you’re saying with number 6. I feel like when we have at least 3-4 activities planned throughout the week, I think of myself as somewhat accomplished when we actually do them. Then I’m overall more organized with the day’s plans, and since my organized side is happy and I got to talk to other adults, my frazzle meter is lower. ;)
I just got the Harney and Sons catalog and they make a pumpkin spice decaf tea. Much fancy.
#1 totally made me crack up… I took a road trip today, and made sure to pack extra wipes… because that is always my fate. Of course because I was super prepared… things went off without a hitch lol
