We’re taking Ellen to see Disney on Ice this morning. When we told her we were going, she was so excited that she was going to “get to ice skate in the Bulimpics with Mick and Min!” When we broke the news that this was, in fact, not the case, she flipped her ish.
We will see how this goes.

Have you joined The Catholic Brew on Facebook? It’s a Catholic group for peeps who are looking to keep with what is new in the Catholic social circle. Articles, questions, discussions, blog posts, pictures, ideas, etc. We brewed up the perfect blend to help you keep up with the Catholic underground.

I got my latest order of doTERRA in the mail yesterday. I oiled up the kids with lavender and roman chamomile before bed. I came down afterward to type this, so I the verdict is still out on whether it helped.
Is there anything you are curious about when it comes to essential oils? I am learning right now, but I am really good at finding people who know answers. It’s how I get by in life.

So, Ellen update: We got the test results from her MRI, and she looks totally normal (insert joke). So, from what they can tell, she might just be having migraines. Honestly, I am cool with that. There are so many other scenarios that ran through my head. Migraines, while painful, are very treatable and livable. We can do this.

And, speaking of health things, I wrote a post a while back on how I plan to get myself out of Funkytown and into a new attitude. Here is how it’s all going down:
Eating well is meh. I have always been a pretty good eater, so to do better at this would require some interesting changes. I guess I have awoken to the idea that I have this pretty under control – it’s the sugar. The sugar consumption is still going strong.
I have been to my gym mecca multiple times per week for a while now. The kids love going to the daycare. I love the workout and the solitude. We all come back home in a MUCH better mood.
Daily prayer was going well at the beginning of Lent. I think I need to do a re-eval to get myself back on track.
I decided to nix the blood builder, and I have yet to find a probiotic that is affordable and effective. And, as for the oils, well I think you’ve heard enough about my jump into that crunch.

Have you started your Call Her Happy Spring Stitch-a-Long yet? Get it.

And and and, have you visited my new Etsy shop yet? I would love if you’d take a look. And, even if you’re not in the buying mood, it would be so solid if you just shared my shop on Facebook or something. The love warrants spreading.

Just a thought….how about a tab for your ADORABLE etsy shop on the top of your blog? Make it easy for us! ;-) Blessings!!!
HI! I just bought one! I just bought one! I am SO excited. I loved it the moment I saw it and I can’t wait to rock it. I am with you on the re-val for prayer in Lent. It’s not that I’ve stopped so much as I’ve been going through the motions…Shhhh don’t tell anyone.
You’re super talented, thanks for making something just for me (without knowing it!)
LOVE your store.
I love my DoTerra peppermint oil on the baby feets. It makes to nighttime coughs go bye bye!! Anything you know of to stop daytime coughing/throat flem? Breathe just doesn’t do the job for us here.
3. I have a question. How exactly do you use the oils? Straight? Mixed in some sort of medium like water or oil? I imagine it depends on what you use it for?
4. and your baby girl! Goodness. Glad it’s manageable, though.
6. I use probiotics. Really helps. Previously I used Sustenex which I think they recently changed the name to Digestive Advantage. It was okay for me but after a few months I decided to try Align. More success with that one. I don’t like the cost but for me it’s better than the alternative.
Excited for catholic brew. Have you tried reuteri probiotics? My doctor (regular MD but kinda crunchy) says they are the most backed by research. A three month supply is about 18 bucks.
