So, I am going to live tweet a day in the life. No one asked me to do this. No one probably wants me to do this. But I am doing this. So, if you are curious what a typical and honest day looks like for a stay-at-home mom of two kiddos, follow the hashtag #jenna4aday on Twitter (have to differentiate now – thanks Facebook…) on Wednesday, October 9 at WhenI:WakeUp EST.
I don’t have anything super special planned for that day, so I will just give you a look at my most normal of days. I promise to be honest and real. Really. Honestly.
And if you are sick of hashtags:
Have you used the Photo 365 app? It’s a way to log a picture from every day of your life for one year. I decided to do it after Andi recommended it. The project was cool, and I will write my thoughts on it soon (ha don’t worry…), but can I just say:
It was the most anti-climatic thing of my life.
I took and recorded a picture every single day for an entire year. I have never done anything that consistently in my life. So, when I hit day 365, I thought we were going to celebrate. Nothing. Not even any fireworks or good jobs. What a ripoff.
My brother is in town from California this weekend. He just met Sam for the first time yesterday. Instant snuggles. And, he is already Ellen’s latest obsession.
I’ve been doing such a horrible job working out lately (because, you know, I went on that streak where I worked out 4 times in 2 weeks…). The class is at 9am which is a great time. But, getting 2 diapered butts out the door by then – even when I don’t even need to wear real clothes – is proving to be a hassle these days. Captain Teethes-a-Lot and Princess I-Not-Going have teamed up lately to see how harried one mom can be.
The Avery Lane giveaway has about 3 more days left on it. So get on it. Cause you want it.
