7QT: There cannot possibly be any more information that you would need to know

I’ve got a feverish girl in my care today (hint: it’s Ellen), so we are, you know, abusing Netflix. Also, when girlfriend is sick, she doesn’t want to eat or drink a thing. So, I’ve bribed her with apple cider, hot chocolate and juice. I’ve heard that to get better, you have to drink tons of sugar…or something like that.

Asking this on FB today, but I will ask here too because it is that important: “Ok, I need a new shampoo other than Suave. I’ve got fine-stranded, straight, blonde hair and a lot of it. Super long, thickish, and sometimes highlighted. I’d say it’s normal (not oily or dry). I wash my hair about every three days. There cannot possibly be any more information that you would need to know. Now, suggest.”

Doing some plane traveling soon, and since Xanax is frowned upon in pregnancy (so I’ll eat all the sushi to make up for it), I got one of these bad boys. I’m hoping Balance and Serenity will fit nicely in here and calm my totally legitimate fears and worries.

I really like Mane & Tail for a conditioner. I actually don’t use shampoo anymore. I find that it strips my hair of the oils that you need for healthy hair. I have very fine hair also, but just a lot of it.

I’ve been buying Mane & Tale conditioner for a while now, you can use it to wash your hair, and condition, and use it as a leave-in conditioner.

I am just jumping on the essential oil bandwagon . . . do you really love them??? I may have to try that necklace for our trip to China!

Skip the suds! I’ve done no poo for several years now (ie no shampoo) and i think it has given my straight hair more body. Since you’re only washing a couple of times a week, it probably wouldn’t be too hard a transition.

Hi! Linking up from the latest Currently.

We had colds last week :( We watched Frozen (for the 12,125th time) 3 times in 2 days. But, we diffused BREATHE and applied ONGUARD and kicked the worst part of it in 2 days. Woe to me, I completely forgot that anything peppermint while breastfeeding = plunge in supply. So this week means tons of oatmeal cookies :D

Kirkland brand shampoo and conditioner from Costco are the BEST. Sulfate free, paraben free (for those who care) but still get lathery (#notaword) and makes your hair feel good. You will love it! Promise!

Honestly, as much as I’d love to go more natural with my shampoo/conditioner (I just can’t commit!) I’d rec anything other than Suave. I hated how that made my hair feel. I switch up what brand I use every time, because I like to avoid some of the buildup and it’s fun for me to try new shampoos… I might be a little bit lame.

Suave shampoo is the devil in viscous liquid form. The only thing worse is Suave conditioner. And it’s not because I hate cheap things! Because Suave body wash is the bomb dot com. I can’t explain it. Hey! Maybe they put the exact same stuff in all the bottles? Probs.

Right now for the hairs I think we have Meijer brand pantene-knock-off shampoo and Tresemme conditioner and….I can’t tell. You know what? Postpartum hair loss mamas should be banned from commenting on hair posts. So I’ll shut up now.
