Just got back from BlogHer ’13, and I am still reeling. Check it.
I’m also heading down to the Women Living Well Conference on Aug. 10. Excited.

We saw my cousin Ben’s band play at our town’s little summer concert series. I decided that all the girls in his school must love these boys, and all of the boys must be terrified of this cool girl. Also, Ellen and I danced a lot.

Mike and I celebrated 3 years on Wednesday. We are going to see Jim Gaffigan tonight to celebrate. I invited Jim to go to church with us. Do you think he will take us up?

Ashley from The Big White Farmhouse is starting her Penpal Circles Project. It is a ridiculously cute idea, and you should check it out and sign yourself right up. Maybe we can be mail buds.

My new favorite blogging tool.

I hear all of this awesome stuff about TED talks. Help me out here. What are your favorite talks? It’s not like I will ever have enough time or silence to listen to one. But, I’d love to dream about being cultured.

I just have this strong desire to travel around the country meeting all of my blogging peeps. I want to meet you, you know, ’cause I like you.
Linking up with Jen – that very organized lady.

The Pen Pal Circles thing looks interesting.
I’d also love to meet you too.
Where do you live, Jen? I’m in MI :)
I’m outside Sacramento, CA. It’s about 4 hours by plane from you in MI. :)
I have a brother in Cali! How far are you from the Bay Area? (My geography teacher is shaking her head…)
I know all the #Blogher posts and tweets are getting me excited for #Allume in October (if I get there not sure on funds yet since my employment is shaky) but if I don’t make it there I’m def. going to iRetreat NEXT JUNE. We’re just going to make that our family vacation as it’s at HERSHEY PARK! My mom is already super excited about going to Hershey!! LOL yes we are children that love theme parks.
7 – Yes I wish I could travel everywhere and meet everyone!! I’m hoping next summer when we drive to Hershey to make a few stops and meet some blogging friends :)
I can’t wait to read your posts on Allume! Also, you are always welcome here!
The pen pal thing sounds so fun! I just signed up. Thanks for sharing! :-)
Sweet! Let me know how you like it!
How am I only finding your beautiful blog now?!! I love it!
Thanks so much, Claire! I am going to pop over to your place too!
Yay Jim Gaffigan! So exciting to see him in real life! And I really hope you get to go to church with him. My husband jokes he wants Jim Gaffigan to be the godfather to our next child, and that he’d seriously ask him. He’s probably not really joking!
You know, that’s not such a bad idea…
DC is an educational trip – you know you’ll have to get over here some day! We’ve got family in MI and if it weren’t for the twin we probably would have visited this summer… Maybe next year!
You know, I have never been! Mike and I talk about it all the time. Soon. Soon we will. And, whenever you’re in MI, you are welcome here! This is where all the cool Hunter-Kilmers stay.
Thank you so much for sharing about the Penpal Circles! I appreciate it so much!
Of course! I think the idea is adorable and quaint – just like your blog :)
So exciting that you two are going to see Jim Gaffigan! He is HILARIOUS!
As for TED talks….this is not an enlightening talk, but it is an amazing TED video! Thomas showed it to me and I was in complete awe! It’s worth watching!!

He was so good! And do you have the link to that talk?
I wish I could tag along with you to all your conferences and sit at your feet. Also, if you ever want to stop through Kentucky, you have a place to stay :)
Aw. If you came with me, I would let you sit in a chair.
I’ve only seen one Ted talk, so I suppose it’s my favorite: http://www.ted.com/talks/ron_eglash_on_african_fractals.html
Although my google search for “Ted talk fractals” just brought one up from the mathematician who started working on them, so I guess that’s my plan for the evening.
I’m going to check it out :) Mike and I listened to a podcast yesterday about traffic. I thought it would be super interesting, but I was left flat.
I loved BlogHer13 and meeting you! Also your face on number 6 is awesome. I love TED talks! I saw one with a poet named Sarah. I’ll look for it fir you. Also one about a bully who became introspective.
Yes! Please do send them :)
Hey Jenna, I’ve really been enjoying your writing and reading your blog is always enjoyable. So much so that I have nominated you for a blog award. Check out my site to take a better look. Happy Monday!
P.S. I hope Jim Gaffigan goes to church with you!!
Thank you so much, Annie. I just went over to your blog and added it to my reader! So hopefully you will be hearing a lot more from me.
