I think I’m joining Jen today, although she is at the doctor getting needles jabbed in her neck without anesthesia – or something like that. For crying out loud. Anyway, prayers for her, por favor.

I love finding new blogs. This is my latest favorite: MomComm. She has all sorts of practical tips for mom and women bloggers, and best of all, she does blog critiques for her readers. She only opens up the queue for critiques every so often and only 26 people get in each time. Do you see where I’m going with this?
Guess who got a spot?
Ok, ok. It’s me.
I’ll keep you posted on when and where you can read the down and dirty. Meanwhile, any good blog tips you’ve learned recently?

More blogging stuff:
Thinking about going to this conference put on by Women Living Well. It’s in Akron, OH this year. It’s one day and only $48.

I’m a moderate sports watcher. If a group of people are getting together to eat bite-sized treats and watch some sort of big game, I’m all about it. I will even tell you that I really like watching March Madness and Spartan football.
But, you know what I really love? Baseball.
I love the game on tv. I love the game in person. I love the sound of it on in the background of Summer. I love the weather associated with it. I love the food that goes along with it. I just love it.

New Show Alert:
Mike and I have been watching an episode of Man, Woman, Wild every night before bed. Worst name for a show ever, but we cannot stop watching it.
It’s a husband (survival expert) and wife (pretty much me) who go out on your typical survival adventures. But, there is something about watching a married couple doing this that is so entertaining. So entertaining.

Just realized I have five events I need to attend before this baby is born, and all of them require a dress. I’m on the hunt for a springy dress that I can wear postpartum too. I’m thinking potentially floral. Non-maternity. I might need to belt it, then? Do you care about this? I Polyvored it, of course. A mood board, if you will.

Feeling super huge these days. I’ve already gained more weight with this one than I did with Ellen, and I still have 7-8ish weeks to go. Depressed doesn’t cover it. Call me vain. Do it. It’s true.
A side effect of this weight gain is redonk rib pain. The only thing that I have found that offers a second of relief is a little stretching: feet shoulder width apart facing the wall (about 12 in back from wall), lean arms against wall with arms above head and crossed over one another in an X. I’d take a picture, but see above.

We close on our house one week from today! I can’t. I just can’t. Happy dance (while holding ribs)!

As you know, I hate pregnancy :) Love babies, hate pregnancy. As I am in the second trimester breather between the first 3 months of awful and the last three months of uncomfortable….you just reminded me of all i i have to look forward in the 3rd trimester. YIKES!!!!
Go Tigers! And, not so much Spartans.
Totes the same for me too. Growing up, I had all of these images of my being pregnant one day, rubbing my bump, glowing and enjoying feeling the baby move. Guh. I was stupid.
Umm I want all of those dresses. But you’re going to have the cutest baby ever so when it is here you don’t have to worry about that weight :)
I hope I won’t have to!
Love all those dresses! And pregnancy weight gain kinda stinks. I was the exact same way w/ my second. It was depressing so I just ate my feelings w/ more sweets- eating for 2 and all. ;)
haha Lisa, I have been doing the same thing. Depressed? Have a brownie!
You’re getting a MomComm critique????? That is awesome! I better not be the only blogging dork who is geeking out about that in your honor.
Also, when are we getting together? I have a box for the purse auction. I have small children. I have….something else you’re interested in I’m sure. Let’s make this happen!
Ah so glad I can geek out with you! I love her site!
And, we are moving April 15, so after that, it is smooth sailing – I hope! When looks good for you??
Those dresses are so cute! And congrats on the house! I think I would be too self conscious to have someone critque my blog. But then again no one really reads it, so I guess maybe I should have someone critique it to make it better! Lookign forward to hearing the dirt.
It took a lot of work to get it to the point where I wanted someone to look at it, but any help is always appreciated, ya know?
Those dresses are fabulous! I hear you about the baby weight…as wonderful as it is to have a miracle growing inside, sometimes it’s hard not to be hard on yourself. It will come off :) Way to go on the blog! So fun :)
I know you’re right, I just need to keep remembering that!
I love your taste! All those dresses are beautiful – I especially like the one on the lower left! Have I mentioned I love your new home and am so excited for you all (and only 5% jealous)? Hope the munchkins are giving you an easy day today!
I had to fuss free diaper changes today, so I call it a win!
Those dresses are so cute! They all seem like they’d be good for after the baby. I pretty much cannot stand anything about being pregnant (weight gain, morning sickness, fatigue, etc), but boy do I love babies! Hope your last weeks go smoothly :)
Same here. Love the babies-hate the 40 weeks!
